Vigil for James Foley in New Hampshire draws Syrian Americans who praised journalist’s work.
‘He gave his life trying to expose the suffering of the Syrian people,’ said Hamid Imam, who drove hundreds of miles to pay tribute to the murdered man on Saturday.
“Thank you, James. We will never forget about you!” said Imam, 26, who lives in Paterson, N.J.
Earlier that day, Foley’s family received a condolence letter from the Iraqi president.
